The Godin Summit Classic Convertible is a scorching & versatile rock machine for the ages!

It features a beautiful sculpted Maple Carved Top, an incredibly light weight & resonant chambered Spanish Cedar body, a mahogany set-neck with a bound Richlite fingerboard & headstock, large dot inlays, the Godin High-Definition Revoicer system, and the Graphtech ResoMax bridge.

The Summit Classic Convertible is powered by two Seymour Duncan P-Rail pickups, which allow the player to select between humbucker, single-coil, or P-90 tones - all in the same pickup.

The High-Definition Revoicer revoices and augments the frequency range of each pickup, allowing the player to go from passive to active pickups with the simple push of a button. The H.D.R. provides extra bite, dynamic response and redefines the character of each pickup.

The Instrument's Family

Robert Godin began making guitars in rural Quebec out of a passion for music and craftsmanship. His dedication to quality and ingenuity has allowed Godin to become one of North America’s largest guitar manufacturers. They have always provided players around the world with guitars that are unique, diverse, and effortlessly enjoyable.

46 years later, that same passion drives the next generation of Godin Guitars by Robert’s two sons, Simon and Patrick. Their current guitars continue to evolve and shake up the industry through modern designs, thoughtful refinement and a commitment to handwork.

Godin guitars are unique because from forest to stage, they are North American. The necks and bodies are all made in their original location in La Patrie, Quebec. Godin Guitars are then assembled in their Quebec and New Hampshire factories.

Keeping the process close to home means that Godin experts and designers can ensure the highest quality with a personal touch. From fretting to sanding, there is more handwork in Godin guitars than you will find in most custom shops.

Godin strives to consistently provide top-quality guitars which honor the finest traditions of lutherie, while continually refining the process through their innovative designs.

These instruments make it easy for any musician to learn, develop, and most importantly enjoy their musical abilities. Whether strumming on your front porch, or playing a sold-out show, these guitars will deliver rich, resonant, unparalleled sound in any setting.
