The exquisite Passion RG-3 reaches new heights in craftsmanship and innovation. It is a dream guitar for guitar connoisseurs, and especially single-coil lovers.

Handcrafted using superior tone woods in the Godin Premier Atelier in Richmond, Quebec, these guitars represent the culmination of Robert Godin’s expertise, vision, and dedication to innovation in guitar building.

Godin's High-Definition Revoicer (H.D.R.) revoices and augments the frequency range of each pickup and allows the player to go from passive to active pickups with the simple push of a button.

The H.D.R. provides extra bite, dynamic response and redefines the character of each pickup. It’s like having 2 sets of pickups in 1 guitar, for a total of 5 passive tones and 5 active tones.

The Godin Tru-Loc Trem system allows a player to regulate Tremolo Arm placement via a simple allen key adjustment, which locks the arm into a personal Custom Comfort Zone. The arm stays firm & true while offering smooth & full mobility within player's selected Custom Comfort Zone.

The Instrument's Family

Robert Godin began making guitars in rural Quebec out of a passion for music and craftsmanship. His dedication to quality and ingenuity has allowed Godin to become one of North America’s largest guitar manufacturers. They have always provided players around the world with guitars that are unique, diverse, and effortlessly enjoyable.

46 years later, that same passion drives the next generation of Godin Guitars by Robert’s two sons, Simon and Patrick. Their current guitars continue to evolve and shake up the industry through modern designs, thoughtful refinement and a commitment to handwork.

Godin guitars are unique because from forest to stage, they are North American. The necks and bodies are all made in their original location in La Patrie, Quebec. Godin Guitars are then assembled in their Quebec and New Hampshire factories.

Keeping the process close to home means that Godin experts and designers can ensure the highest quality with a personal touch. From fretting to sanding, there is more handwork in Godin guitars than you will find in most custom shops.

Godin strives to consistently provide top-quality guitars which honor the finest traditions of lutherie, while continually refining the process through their innovative designs.

These instruments make it easy for any musician to learn, develop, and most importantly enjoy their musical abilities. Whether strumming on your front porch, or playing a sold-out show, these guitars will deliver rich, resonant, unparalleled sound in any setting.
