One of the original models in Cordoba’s Luthier series, the C-10 is built with a solid European Spruce top and solid Indian Rosewood back and sides. It is a great choice for any serious guitarist, or for the classical student looking to upgrade to a performance-level instrument at an affordable price.

Like every guitar in the Luthier series, the C-10 is built around its Spanish heel. In this traditional construction method, the top of the guitar is attached to the neck, the sides are added next, and the guitar’s body is finally sealed by the installation of the back. This approach allows the entire instrument to vibrate as one unified piece.

The traditional fan bracing pattern gives the center of the sound-board more surface area to vibrate and respond to the tension of the strings, resulting in a louder and more responsive guitar with excellent tone.

The C-10 has the neck shape and flat fingerboard characteristic of traditional classical guitars, and includes the added benefit of a two-way truss rod built into the neck. Aesthetic touches like the mother-of-pearl weave rosette inspired by a 1920’s Domingo Esteso design add a touch of vintage elegance to this best-seller.

The Instrument's Family

Cordoba's Luthier Series guitars are handmade in a boutique workshop using all-solid woods and other premium materials. These traditionally designed instruments are built using Spanish methods from the 1800's, and all feature Spanish heels, hand carved necks and braces, and domed sound-boards.
